ABOUT SKEGNESS
STADIUM
Skegness Stadium is a fun place
to be for all members of the family something for all age
groups, just two miles inland from Ingoldmells, and easy to
get to from Skegness and surrounding areas, featuring a ¼
mile tarmac race track, its unique wide tight bends and
short straights offer the best Banger and Stock Car racing
in the country.
From the low cost metal smashing Bangers to the
sophisticated racing machines of the full on contact of
unlimited power of the F1 Stock Cars and all formulas in
between, we have something for all age groups.
With the emphasise on FUN we feature, Monster Trucks
starring for 2013 Crusher driven by Lewis Cook and an
appearance from Podzilla on August Bank Holiday Sunday.
Motor bike stunt teams with the return of the famous
Twobrothers Racing Stunt Team, and the awesome Brokefmx
Freestyle Motorcross Stunt Bikes Display Team. Firework
Displays, and Caravan and Banger Destruction Derby.
Racing takes place on Weekends from March to end of
November. Thursday evenings during the main school holidays
at Easter, Whit and the main Summer weeks of July and August
we race Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7-30pm. All details
are on our fixture list.
You can see all of the action at all times, from our high
level grassed banks and also hard standing terraces with a
large covered Grandstand area for standing under if the
weather is a bit iffy or if you want shelter from the sun.
There is also Trackview parking area, where you can watch
from your cars (for an additional charge).
Plenty of onsite food outlets, featuring all types of food,
two welcoming bars and two well stocked Souvenir Track shops
selling everything from Flags, T shirts, Fleeces, Air Horns,
Sweets, Pop etc. Racing DVD’s and souvenirs of your visit to
Skeggy Stadium.
Access is easy from Skegness, Ingoldmells or from inland,
follow the Brown tourist signs, the address for Sat Navs is
Marsh Lane, Orby, Skegness Lincs PE24 5JA.There are large
free car parks adjacent to the Stadium Entrance.
Kids under 12years are always free of charge. You can pay at
the turnstile, or take advantage of our Advance Saver
tickets which offers up to £2-50 saving on each Adult
Admission prices, there are also savings for Seniors &
Junior (13yrs to 15yrs). This is available up to 24hrs
before the event.
